KeyOne

KeyOne: Visa crypto card 2026
Honest review of crypto card, fees, limits, KYC, and reviews
KeyOne — a cryptocurrency payment card,
which combines a non-custodial crypto wallet with a virtual Visa debit card.
The key idea of the service is that the private key remains on the user’s device,
while the card allows for purchases in the local currency wherever Visa is accepted.
The operator of the service is KEYONE SOLUTION LTD — International Business Corporation,
registered in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Certificate of Incorporation
No. C 63589. The site also specifies D-U-N-S Number 81-686-5432.
In this regard, KeyOne clearly states that it is not a bank. The payment card is issued by
the partner Wirex within its own regulatory permits and Visa licenses.
As of July 24, 2026, KeyOne offers only
virtual Visa cards. The free plan includes one card,
Premium — three cards, and additional cards for Premium cost €10 each.
Issuance and monthly maintenance are free.
The main advantage of the product is self-custody. According to the Terms of Service, the private key is created
and stored on the user’s device through an embedded wallet provider, and KeyOne has no
technical access to it. However, this does not mean that the card cannot be blocked:
Wirex as the issuer can suspend or close the card due to suspicion of fraud,
rule violations, or compliance requirements. Therefore, the risks of storing crypto assets and the risks of access
to card infrastructure should be considered separately.
To use the card, KYC is required: an identification document
and a selfie. KeyOne claims that the standard verification typically takes up to 5 minutes.
The card supports Apple Pay. There is no confirmed statement regarding the support of Google Pay
by the KeyOne product in its current official materials.
An important nuance regarding Ukraine: KeyOne claims the card can be used in more than
200 countries, but this refers to the geography of Visa acceptance, not a list of countries
whose residents are guaranteed to receive the card. The official Terms only indicate that the user
must reside in a country supported by the partner. The third-party profiling service NomadCard
includes KeyOne in the list of crypto cards available to Ukrainians in 2026, but there is no official
list from KeyOne stating its relation to Ukraine that ZIND has found. Therefore, accessibility for a specific
Ukrainian resident should be verified during KYC prior to topping up the balance.
Date of information verification: July 24, 2026.
The KeyOne tariffs were updated on 07.23.2026, so older reviews online may contain
outdated numbers. In this material, ZIND uses the current official table of Fees & Limits.

How KeyOne works
The architecture of KeyOne differs from most custodial crypto cards.
Instead of transferring cryptocurrency to a centralized balance of the card service,
the user receives a non-custodial wallet, the private key of which is stored on their device.
- Registration. The user opens KeyOne through the available app / Telegram mini-app.
- KYC. Must confirm identity using a passport or ID and a selfie.
- Wallet creation. The private key is generated and remains on the user’s device.
- Visa issuance. After KYC, virtual card details can be received.
- Top-up. The user transfers supported cryptocurrency or uses available banking rails.
- Apple Pay. The virtual Visa can be added to Apple Wallet.
- Payment. When purchasing, the required amount is deducted from the connected balance and converted into the merchant’s currency if necessary.
KeyOne describes itself as a technology interface, while card and fiat services are provided by Wirex.
This means that the user is simultaneously dependent on the functioning of the KeyOne blockchain infrastructure and
on the card/compliance infrastructure of Wirex.
Is KeyOne truly non-custodial
According to the official Terms of Service — yes. KeyOne states that the private key is generated and stored
on the device, and the company cannot sign a blockchain transaction without the user’s permission.
The Privacy Policy separately states that KeyOne does not receive the seed phrase, private keys, or wallet password.
This reduces typical custodial risk: bankruptcy or account blocking of KeyOne itself
should not automatically mean losing the private key to the wallet.
However, the notion of “funds cannot be frozen” should be interpreted cautiously.
The Cardholder Agreement allows Wirex to suspend or close the card, for example, due to fraud,
prohibited use, or compliance. KeyOne’s Terms also allow limiting access to the service when required by law.
Therefore, a non-custodial architecture protects control over the blockchain key,
but does not guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the Visa card.
What cryptocurrencies does KeyOne support
On its main page, KeyOne specifically names USDT, USDC, ETH, and SOL and promotes
the ability to top up a self-custody wallet with these assets.
However, the current official Fees & Limits page separately mentions only USDC / USDT,
while the Terms of Service describe crypto top-ups as sending “supported stablecoins.” For crypto withdrawals,
the Terms explicitly mention the Base network.
Due to this discrepancy between the marketing page and formal documents, ZIND recommends
not to send ETH, SOL, or an asset in a specific network without prior verification of the deposit address
and supported network directly in KeyOne.

KeyOne fees
| Operation | Fee | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Issuance of virtual Visa | €0 | For Free and Premium |
| Monthly maintenance | €0 | For both plans |
| Crypto top-up | 0.8% Free / 0.33% Premium | Plus blockchain network fee |
| SEPA / ACH top-up | 0.8% Free / 0.3% Premium | According to the current official table |
| Visa / Mastercard top-up | Provider fee | Shown before confirmation |
| Card payment in balance currency | 0% | No separate KeyOne fee |
| Payment in another currency | Up to 1% | Currency conversion fee included in converted amount |
| In-app exchange | 0.3% | Conversion of supported currencies |

| Bank transfer out | May be partner fee | Shown before confirmation |
Example of top-up cost
If a user tops up the card infrastructure with an equivalent of 1,000 USDT,
then for the Free plan, the service crypto top-up fee will be approximately
8 USDT, while for Premium — approximately 3.30 USDT.
This is in addition to the blockchain network fee.
For active users, the difference between 0.8% and 0.33% can be significant,
but before paying €149 for Premium, it is worth calculating your annual top-up volume.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Apple Pay is officially confirmed. KeyOne explicitly promotes the ability to issue
a virtual Visa, add it to Apple Wallet, and pay via iPhone or Apple Watch
at terminals with contactless.
Regarding Google Pay, the situation is different. Wirex as a BaaS provider generally supports
Apple Pay and Google Pay for card programs, but the current KeyOne pages and Cardholder Agreement
only mention Apple Pay. Therefore, ZIND does not mark Google Pay as guaranteed available for KeyOne.
Is KeyOne available for Ukrainians
The official KeyOne site does not publish a complete list of countries whose residents can undergo card issuance.
The Terms of Service set only a general rule: the user must reside in a country
supported by the issuing partner.
Independent catalog NomadCard in its material
“The Best Crypto Cards for Ukrainians in 2026” includes KeyOne in the live list
of crypto cards available to Ukrainians. In a separate review of KeyOne, this resource mentions 76 countries,
residents of which can open a card.
Since the official KeyOne page does not provide ZIND with the ability to confirm Ukraine in a separate country list,
the safest formulation is:
third-party sources indicate availability for Ukrainians, but final eligibility should be checked
with KeyOne before cryptocurrency top-up.
KYC and personal data
KeyOne is not a no-KYC crypto card. Before issuing the first card, a one-time identity verification is required:
government-issued ID or passport + live selfie.
The Privacy Policy states that the following may be collected for card issuance:
full name, date of birth, nationality, address, document, selfie, email, phone,
public wallet addresses, transaction hashes, last digits of the card, merchant category,
geography and amount of payment, IP, device model, and technical logs.
KYC and transaction records may be stored for at least 5 years after the end of the relationship
with the client, if required by AML rules. Data may be transferred to service providers
in the EEA, UK, USA, and other jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards.
License and legal status of KeyOne
KeyOne does not position KEYONE SOLUTION LTD as a bank or a standalone Visa issuer.
The Terms state that the company is a technology interface.
Card and fiat payment rails are provided by Wirex under its own licenses and agreements.
The official BaaS page of Wirex confirms that the company provides partners with card issuance,
Visa program management, KYC/AML, and payment infrastructure for non-custodial stablecoin cards.
This is an important distinction: the registration of KEYONE SOLUTION LTD in Nevis and its D-U-N-S
is not a banking or payment license. The regulated card component
is provided by the partner Wirex.
ZIND did not find a specific legal entity of Wirex in the public KeyOne Cardholder Agreement,
which is the issuer for each country. The document uses the general wording
“our licensed partner, Wirex.” Full issuer terms accepted by the user during issuance take precedence in case of conflict with the short description of KeyOne.
KeyOne security
- Self-custody: the private key is not passed to KeyOne.
- Seed phrase: the service claims it does not receive seed phrase or wallet password.
- 3-D Secure: some online purchases may require confirmation in the app.
- Freeze card: the user can block a compromised card.
- KYC/AML: the card product undergoes identity and compliance procedures.
- Blockchain risk: transfers are irreversible; incorrect address or network can lead to asset loss.
- Recovery risk: loss of access to keys / recovery credentials may mean irreversible loss of access to funds.

Reviews about KeyOne
The most important conclusion: there are currently very few independent user reviews about KeyOne.
During the verification, ZIND did not find a separate representative profile of KeyOne on Trustpilot
or an active Reddit community with a sufficient history of real usage.
The independent profiling site NomadCard published a review of KeyOne on July 8, 2026, and rated
the product 6/10. The author positively assesses self-custody, Apple Pay, and fast issuance,
but explicitly names the main disadvantages as the young age of the service, the virtual-only format, and mandatory KYC.
It is important: some of the figures in this independent review are already outdated.
For example, NomadCard as of 08.07.2026 indicated Premium at €120/year, 0% crypto top-up for Premium
and other limits. Official KeyOne updated Fees & Limits on 07.23.2026:
now Premium costs €149/year, crypto top-up for Premium — 0.33%,
and the monthly card limit is €20,000 Free / €30,000 Premium.
Due to the lack of a large number of independent reviews, ZIND does not consider it correct
to form an “average user rating” for KeyOne. For a new service, it is sensible to first
check KYC, do a small crypto top-up, make one real purchase, and a refund, and only then
increase the amount of usage.
Trustpilot: representative profile of KeyOne not found.
Reddit: no sufficient independent discussions specifically about KeyOne found.
NomadCard: editorial rating 6/10, review from 08.07.2026; some tariff numbers are already outdated.
Comparison of KeyOne with other crypto cards
| Card | Custody | Issuance | Apple / Google Pay | Key fees / features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KeyOne | Non-custodial wallet | Virtual Visa — €0 | Apple Pay — yes; Google Pay — not confirmed | Crypto top-up 0.8% Free / 0.33% Premium; FX up to 1%; Premium €149/year; cashback not stated |
| WhiteBIT Nóva | Custodial exchange account | Virtual card — stated $0 on the official USD page | Apple Pay + Google Pay | On the current USD page stated $0 opening, $0 monthly and 0% top-up; cashback depends on program/category |
| Bybit Card | Custodial exchange account | Virtual — free as per the current page | Apple Pay + Google Pay + Samsung Pay, where available | No annual fee; 2–10% cashback per program; $100 equivalent ATM without commission monthly, thereafter 2% |
| RedotPay | Custodial | Virtual $10 / Physical $100 | Apple Pay; Google Pay available for supported cards/regions | Offers physical card and ATM; Pro $12.90/month or $129/year with additional benefits |
The main competitive advantage of KeyOne is not cashback, but self-custody.
If rewards, physical card, or ATM are important to the user, other services may be stronger.
If the priority is not to keep the main crypto balance with a centralized card provider,
KeyOne looks more interesting.
Who is KeyOne suitable for
- users of USDT / USDC who want to spend cryptocurrency via Visa;
- those for whom a non-custodial wallet is fundamentally important;
- users of Apple Pay;
- digital nomads and freelancers who need a virtual Visa without a physical card;
- users with relatively large monthly card spending limits;
- those willing to go through complete KYC.
KeyOne is less convenient for users who need a physical card, ATM,
guaranteed Google Pay, cashback, or a long operational history of the product.

- What reviews are there about KeyOne?

Conclusion: is it worth using KeyOne in 2026?
KeyOne is one of the more interesting new crypto cards of 2026 precisely because of its
non-custodial model. Unlike most exchange crypto cards,
the user does not transfer the private key to a centralized service, and the card infrastructure
is connected to the wallet via Wirex.
According to the tariffs, the product looks clear: issuance and monthly fee — €0,
crypto top-up — 0.8% Free / 0.33% Premium, payments in balance currency — 0%,
FX — up to 1%, and the spending limit is €20,000 or €30,000 per card per month.
The main downsides are the young age of the service, almost complete lack of independent review history,
virtual-only format, absence of confirmed Google Pay, and no cashback.
Additionally, the official pages do not provide an open country list for issuance, and the marketing page
and formal documents describe the supported crypto assets somewhat differently.
In terms of risks, self-custody indeed reduces dependence on the operator regarding the storage of cryptocurrency,
but does not eliminate card counterparty risk: Wirex can reject a transaction or suspend a card
due to compliance or fraud monitoring.
ZIND’s conclusion: KeyOne looks like a promising crypto card for users
who value control over private keys and Apple Pay, but due to the very short history
of the product, it is advisable to initially test it with a small amount. For those who need cashback,
a physical card, ATM, or a long brand history, there are stronger alternatives in the market.
