Updated September 24, 2026. Binance has announced that on September 28 it will stop UAH deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH and remove the USDT/UAH spot trading pair. This matters if you use Binance to check the USDT to UAH exchange rate or hold a UAH balance on the exchange. The announcement does not say that Binance P2P is closing. Here are the precise deadlines, what happens to your hryvnia balance, and the options for buying or selling USDT for UAH.
At a glance: what is changing on Binance?
- September 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Kyiv time: UAH deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH will no longer be supported.
- At the same time, Binance will delist the USDT/UAH spot pair. Open orders in that pair will be canceled automatically after trading stops.
- Binance will automatically convert remaining eligible UAH balances into USDT by September 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time, at the fixed rate of 1 USDT = 46.5 UAH.
- If you want an eligible balance converted automatically, you do not need to submit a separate request.
- P2P and spot trading are different ways to exchange funds. Delisting the USDT/UAH spot pair does not, by itself, mean UAH P2P trades will end. Check available ads and payment methods in your account before placing a trade.
The deadlines and conversion terms come from Binance’s original English announcement, published September 23, 2026. Binance gives the deadlines as 09:00 (UTC+2) on September 28 and 18:00 (UTC+2) on September 30. Those correspond to 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Kyiv on those dates.
What does the Binance UAH change mean for users?
The notice covers one specific hryvnia service, Fiat Trade UAH, and one specific spot market, USDT/UAH. It does not announce that Binance is closing for Ukrainian users, removing USDT, or automatically converting USDT already held in accounts.
If your usual route was to add UAH to your Binance fiat balance and then buy USDT on the USDT/UAH spot market, that route will no longer work after the deadline. To exchange hryvnia for USDT, you will need to check other available methods, such as P2P or a third-party crypto exchanger. Rates, fees, limits, and availability vary.
What should you do before September 28?
- Check your UAH balance. See whether you hold hryvnia on Binance and which actions the account interface currently offers.
- Review open USDT/UAH orders. If you want to change a price or cancel an order yourself, do so before trading stops. Binance will automatically cancel remaining open orders in the pair afterward.
- Compare your options for the UAH balance. If you intend to exchange or withdraw it yourself, check whether the operation is available and how much you would receive before the deadline. If you plan to use automatic conversion, factor in Binance’s fixed rate of 46.5 UAH per USDT.
- Keep your transaction history. It can help you reconcile canceled orders, the conversion, and the amounts ultimately credited to your account.
What rate will Binance use to convert UAH to USDT?
For eligible UAH balances, Binance has set a fixed conversion rate of 1 USDT = 46.5 UAH. At that rate, for example, 4,650 UAH equals 100 USDT. This is the rate for the automatic balance conversion. It is not a promise that you can buy or sell USDT at that rate on P2P or through an exchanger.
The notice uses the phrase eligible UAH balances but does not list every possible balance type. If your situation is unusual, check how your funds appear in your account and contact Binance support.
How can you buy USDT with UAH after USDT/UAH Spot closes?
Option 1: Check Binance P2P offers
In a P2P transaction, you buy USDT from another user and pay them in UAH using an accepted method. This is neither a Fiat Trade UAH deposit nor an order on the USDT/UAH spot market. Binance included UAH in a September 2026 P2P merchant campaign, although you should check that a suitable trade is actually available before sending payment.
- Open Binance P2P and check whether buying USDT for UAH and your preferred payment method are available in your account.
- Compare the rate, limits, completed trades, and seller terms.
- Create an order and pay only using the details and rules shown in the active trade.
- Confirm payment through the platform interface and wait for the USDT to arrive.
For more on this method, see ZIND’s guide to P2P crypto transfers in Ukraine. To compare it with other routes, read how to buy USDT with hryvnia.
Option 2: Buy USDT from a crypto exchanger
Another route is to buy USDT for UAH from a service that accepts your payment method and then transfer the crypto to your Binance account, provided Binance supports a USDT deposit on your chosen network. Before paying, compare the final amount of USDT after all costs, the minimum order, verification terms, and the transfer network.
You can start with ZIND’s directory of crypto exchangers in Ukraine. Get the USDT deposit address and network from your own Binance account and make sure the exchanger uses the same network. Sending funds over an incompatible network can result in a loss.
How can you withdraw USDT from Binance as UAH to a bank card?
Once withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH end, there are two separate routes to check: selling USDT through an available P2P offer or sending USDT to an exchanger that pays out hryvnia. Neither should be assumed to work for every account, bank, or transaction size.
Using P2P
- Open Binance P2P and check for USDT sell offers against UAH that support your way of receiving payment.
- Compare the buyer’s rate and limits with the amount you expect to receive in your bank account.
- After opening an order, wait for payment. Check your own banking app to confirm that the money has arrived; do not rely only on a screenshot or a buyer’s message.
- Release USDT only after you have verified receipt of the full amount. If something goes wrong, use Binance’s in-platform appeal process.
Binance specifically warns P2P sellers not to release crypto based on a payment screenshot without checking their own account.
Using an exchanger
If you want hryvnia paid to a card or in cash, look for an exchanger offering USDT → UAH. Before creating an order, confirm the rate after fees, available UAH reserves, payout method, identity-check requirements, and the network on which it accepts USDT. Check the network, then send crypto only to the address provided in your actual order.
Use ZIND to compare exchangers. Remember that Binance may charge a crypto withdrawal fee: compare the UAH you would actually receive, not just the advertised exchange rate.

Frequently asked questions
Is Binance removing all support for hryvnia?
The notice concerns deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH, the USDT/UAH spot pair, and conversion of eligible UAH balances. It does not establish that every way to transact in hryvnia, including P2P, is closing.
Will I still be able to check the USDT to UAH rate on Binance?
Once USDT/UAH is delisted, its price will no longer be shown as an active Binance spot-pair price. If USDT-for-UAH P2P offers are available to you, you can compare their rates instead. Individual P2P rates can change and may differ from the fixed 46.5 UAH automatic conversion rate.
What happens if I leave my UAH balance untouched?
According to Binance, remaining eligible UAH balances will be converted automatically into USDT by September 30 at 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time, at 1 USDT = 46.5 UAH. Open USDT/UAH spot orders will be canceled after trading stops on September 28.
Will my existing USDT be converted automatically?
No. The announced automatic conversion is from eligible UAH balances into USDT. The notice does not say that existing USDT holdings will be forcibly exchanged.
Can I withdraw UAH from Binance to monobank or PrivatBank after September 28?
UAH withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH will no longer be supported after the deadline. If selling USDT for UAH on P2P is available in your account, a buyer may be able to pay using a supported bank method. An exchanger with card payouts is another possibility. Check the specific bank, payment details, and offer before trading.
Is Binance P2P guaranteed to remain available?
The September 23 announcement sets no date for closing P2P. It also does not guarantee that a particular P2P feature or payment method will always be available to every user. Check the current Binance interface and subsequent official announcements.
What to take away
The key date for users holding UAH or USDT/UAH orders on Binance is September 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Kyiv time. Check your balance and orders before then, and decide whether the automatic conversion at 46.5 UAH per USDT suits you.
